Sono presenti mezzi ad azione elastica (20), operanti sulla gamba (6) con cerniera mobile (13), e mezzi di vincolo rimovibile (28) per vincolare il cavalletto (4) al corpo allungato (2) in posizione di chiusura in contrasto all'azione di detti mezzi ad azione elastica (20) che determinano una forza che facilita il sollevamento del corpo allungato (2), durante l'operazione di apertura dell'asse da stiro (1), e che impedisce una caduta violenta dello stesso durante l'operazione inversa.
