This invention refers to a cap with a dropper activation button attached to its closure nut, particularly for bottles of liquids for cosmetic and / or pharmacological use.

As is known, there are medicated or cosmetic liquids that require dosing in drops. For this purpose the typical dropper consisting of a cannula is generally used

in glass, associated with a rubber pump from whose crushing derives the variation in volume inside it:

in fact there is the suction of filling of the cannula through its elastic return to the normal volume in the release phase, and the expulsion in drops of the liquid contained

in the cannula following the reduction of its internal volume following the squeezing of it

eraser .

This dropper is however of a trivial and constant aspect that

it is not suitable for use in those sectors, such as

the cosmetic and pharmaceutical one, where the elegance of the packaging becomes an indispensable requirement to adapt to the high cost of the product.

All the more so since this well-known dropper has its end made of rubber: an absolutely unrefined material, both because of its opacity and because of its C / AM3⁄43⁄4 its extreme dirtiness, that is poor hygiene.

To obviate this drawback, a dropper incorporated in a plastic cap comprising, at its top, a plastic button has been created.

With this traditional solution there is therefore the need

to assemble three plastic parts: the cap, the button, the internal threaded cylindrical body. This entails

molds for injection of thermoplastics and the assembly of

such parts.

This solution also has the drawback that, having to for

for aesthetic reasons the base of the cap constitutes the most C / AM ^ &

protruding, it is subjected to resting on the body of the bottle to be reclosed; since this support is derived from a

forced screwing, it follows that, thus preventing further downward advancement of the cap, each

further tightening rotation of the cap creates the downward extraction of the internal threaded cylindrical body associated with it. In other words, there is substantially an unfortunate one

disassembly of the cap; or a separation between the three constituent parts, since the only one remains tightly on the bottle

internal cylindrical threaded body.

In this traditional type of cap there is also the drawback of a button which is guided, in its axial motion,

in a very precarious way, having to entrust such guidance alone

at its outer edge; said outer edge is in fact conditioned by the taper of shape required by the need for

to facilitate their extraction from the forming mold

The object of the present invention is to define a cap with dropper actuation button for flacons and bottles, particularly for cosmetic and pharmaceutical liquids, which consists of only two parts.

Another purpose is to define a cap which can be freely tightened without compromising its integrity.

These and other objects will appear as achieved by reading the following detailed description illustrating a

cap, particularly for liquids for cosmetic use, having

the peculiarity of having a dropper button fixed to the body of its closing nut screw,

said constraint allowing an axial sliding of a predetermined amount between the button and the body of the nut screw integral with a cannula dropper by anchoring it to said

body of a rubber pump regulating the aforementioned cannula dropper.

The invention is illustrated for purely indicative purposes but

non-limiting, in the attached drawing table in which:

- fig. 1 shows an associated plug in diametrical section

to a bottle neck drawn with a thin dashed line;

- fig. 2 shows the outside of the cap of fig. 1;

- fig. 3 shows a cap similar to that of fig. 1 ma

without external guides;

- fig. 4 shows the outside of the cap of fig. 3.

With reference to the aforementioned figures, a mother-screw body 1 is equipped with the usual thread 1A for screwing onto a mating neck of bottle 2, in order to hermetically close it.

This hermetic seal is achieved by interposing a circumferential rubber edge 3A between a bottom of the nut screw 1B and a top 2A.

This tightness is then integrated by a conical body 3B in

rubber designed to forcibly penetrate the neck hole

of the bottle.

These rubber parts are integrated into the body of a pump

made of rubber 3, comprising a usual deformable chamber 3C

to make the volume changes necessary to aspirate the liquid from the bottle using a glass cannula 4

and then expel it in drops.

This cannula 4 is inserted in a suitable hole in the rubber pump 3. The squeezing of the pump in

rubber 3 is made by an internal offshoot 5A of an actuation button 5. This button is held by the body

of nut screw 1 by engaging opposite edges 1C e

5B present respectively on the nut screw body and on the actuation button. The rubber bulb 3 is normally in preloaded contact with the offshoot 5A, so that the elasticity of the rubber pushes the button 5 upwards

until the two edges 1C and 5B are mutually engaged. The

edge 1C constitutes the top of a cylindrical tube 1D integrated in the nut screw body 1. This cylindrical tube 10

it is equipped with a pair of opposing longitudinal notches

The penetration of the cylindrical tube 10 into the conjugate hole 5C takes place with precision, that is, without appreciable play. Also precise is the consequent coupling of the interior of the edge 5B on the outer surface of the cylindrical tube 1D. Yup therefore the button 5 slides guided by the sliding of the outside of the edge 1C on the inside of the conjugate hole 5C and, moreover, by the sliding of the inside of the edge 5B on the outside of the cylindrical tube 1D. This is what happens, also and only, in the illustrated version from fig. 3. In the version illustrated in fig. 1, such precision of the axial sliding of the button with respect the cylindrical tube 10 is instead integrated by the cooperation on the outside between the vertical strips 5D of the button and the grooves 1F of the nut screw body. This is what is clearly expressed by fig. 2. In the absence of these further sliding guides 5D-1F, the version illustrated in fig. 3 in its internal parts and from fig. 4 in its external parts. From Figures 1 and 3 it can be clearly understood how the stroke of the button 5 is delimited by a bottom stop 1G, which advantageously prevents excessive deformations of the pump in rubber otherwise reducing its duration.
