Sono note in commercio svariate tipologie di macchine per la serigrafia, che utilizzano rulli incisi superficialmente ed opportunamente inchiostrati per trasferire immagini sulla superficie di manufatti di varia natura. La superficie di questi rulli è sottoposta ad usura, dovuta sia allo sfregamento continuo della racla di eliminazione dell'inchiostro in eccesso che alle operazioni di stampaggio vere e proprie, ma poiché i citati strati superiori del rullo vengono ottenuti per fusione degli strati siliconici su di un supporto cilindrico di sostegno, quando l'usura rende confusa la stampa delle immagini è necessario procedere alla sostituzione dell'intero rullo, comprese le parti non sottoposte ad usura quali le flange laterali ed il supporto interno. Questa operazione, già di per sé svantaggiosa economicamente, comporta un supplemento di spesa per lo smaltimento dei rulli consumati, che non possono essere riciclati in alcun modo. Lo stoccaggio dei rulli di ricambio da inserire nelle macchine è inoltre molto dispendioso in termini di spazio richiesto, in quanto i rulli sono strutture rigide, il cui ingombro non può essere ridotto in alcun modo. Roller with flexible surface for machines decorating articles characterized in that it comprises an internal support cylinder, a layer of sponge rubber fixed on the external surface of said cylinder, two containment rings for the edges of said layer which are integral with the ends of said cylinder, two end flanges of said cylinder which are provided with means of fastening to said rings, two annular slots formed along the contact surfaces of said flanges and of said rings, a tubular sheath which is made of elastically deformable and impermeable material to the ink of the silicone rubber type, which bears the decorations to be impressed on the external surface, which is adapted to be fitted on said roller and which is equipped at the ends with lips adapted to be blocked inside said circular slots.

2. Roller according to claim 1 characterized in that said flanges are provided with at least one outflow groove for the excess ink.

3. Roller according to claim 1 characterized in that said means for fastening to said rings are constituted by screws.

4. Roller according to claim 1 characterized in that said rings are provided with at least one hole for the passage of air between the surface in contact with said sheath and the outside.
