Abstract

Una fiaccola votiva 1 è realizzata in modo da risultare a funzionamento perpetuo. La fiaccola comprende un elemento scatolare 2 di supporto e contenimento, che presenta superiormente un foro, reso solidale ad un elemento di ricezione 3 della luce e conversione della medesima in energia elettrica che è costituito da una cellula fotovoltaica 3a collegata ad un circuito elettrico 5 collocato entro l'elemento scatolare 2 e collegato a sua volta da un lato ad un elemento di accumulo dell'energia elettrica 4, e dall'altro ad una serie di elementi fotoemettitori 6a,b,c,d.L'elemento scatolare 2 è chiuso superiormente da un coperchio di vetro 7 che riproduce le fattezze di una fiamma ardente. L'elemento di accumulo 4 é atto ad accumulare l'energia elettrica prodotta dall'elemento 3 di ricezione e conversione che non viene utilizzata dal circuito elettrico 5 per generare una serie di impulsi elettrici modulati inviati agli elementi fotoemettitori. In tal modo è assicurato il funzionamento continuo del dispositivo ed un suggestivo effetto di fiamma ardente.
