Abstract

The hinge (1) comprises two identical threaded stems (5) adapted for screw thread engagement with members to be hingedly connected together. One end of each stem (5) has a cylindrical expansion (6) traversed by a U-shaped recess (7) to define a fork-like end (4). Each end (4) has molded thereon a plastic covering (8) defining a seat (9). A pin (10) is accommodated within the seat (9) formed in the covering (8) of each of the two identical threaded stems (5), and is partially embraced by the fork-like ends (4) thereof. Holes (11) may be provided in the covering (8) for permitting lubrication of the pin (10) inside the seat (9).
