DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
A corredo di una domanda di brevetto per invenzione industriale avente per titolo: In support of a patent application for an industrial invention entitled:
?Corpetto di monitoraggio per conducente di veicoli?. ?Vehicle Driver Monitoring Vest?.
This patent proposal presents a novel monitoring vest with wearable units on the neck and head for vehicle drivers. The device realizes a sensorization for monitoring the physiological state of a driver with a low-cost, efficient and user-oriented structure for analyzing physiological conditions during vehicle driving.
Currently, there are various solutions of monitoring systems applicable for vehicle drivers, which show limitations especially in compactness and management also presenting complex and bulky structures with a variety of multiple sensors. Examples of such solutions are available both at commercial and patent level and in the research field. Examples of commercial, expensive and complex solutions, not specifically aimed at vehicle drivers, are Nansense which consists of a suit designed for animation, biomechanics, ergonomics, sports and medical sciences with 22 sensors for monitoring only the movement of the whole body; and the Tesla Suit instrumented for muscle electrostimulation with 14 IMUs and a cardiorespiratory monitoring system for the analysis of the physiological state. : The following patents are indicative with sensory devices with distribution of sensors with external electronics for the acquisition and processing of the acquired data: US 2011/0046915 A1 of 2011 refers to a complex partially wearable system for capturing the movement of a person in a laboratory environment by combining a video system with an inertial system based on IMU sensors and UWB and GPS positioning systems or other GNSS systems, which is very difficult to adapt to monitoring vehicle drivers; US00604.9747A of 2000 and US 8,907,797 B2 of 2012 relate to a video system for detecting the driver's expressions for the analysis of his state of attention; patents US20160339293A1 and WO1996006328A1 of 2016 propose systems for monitoring the motor configuration through the use of IMUs variously placed on a person's body; and US00611951.6A of 2000 - relating to a biofeedback system for monitoring body movements with torque, force and displacement sensors distributed in various parts of the body with a small data processing module. Various monitoring systems for vehicle drivers for assessing the effects of a crash are developed in research laboratories for the study of biomechanics and the consequences of a vehicle crash with a large variety of physical parameter sensors in combination with other data for research and application purposes not only related to the specific problem of road accidents, but also with the possibility of being adapted for monitoring vehicle drivers during normal driving. A representative example can be given in the Kistler Crash Test Dummy System with sensors in a dummy for measuring accelerations, moments and forces acting on humans subjected to crashes and explosions.
La descrizione del dispositivo di monitoraggio si riferisce agli schemi nelle seguenti figure in tavola 1: The present invention is proposed as an innovative solution for a vest with units wearable on the neck and head for vehicle drivers for monitoring the conditions of vehicle drivers while driving.
