Abstract

The snow gun is made up of a system of stationary nozzles (1), supplied by a water line (2) and by an air line (3) both pressurized. The artificial snow jets are sustained by potent air flow projected from the opening (4) and produced by a large rotating fan supplied through the lateral slits (6) so as to form a cushion of air, through which the jets of artificial snow are sustained until they fall back down onto the ground at a certain distance from the gun. This has the advantage of uniformity (fig. 1).
