Abstract

Steam generator e.g. for supplying an appliance such as a smoothing iron, comprises a boiler (5) and a take-off (10) between which two successive solenoid valves (7,8) are provided. A resistance heater (17) of the boiler (5) and the valves (7,8) are monitored via an electronic control unit (13) pref. with selector switch (28) and LED display (14) of selections.
