Abstract

This invention is concerned with a device and method of producing links for "birdseye" chains, used in the production of necklaces, bracelets and other decorative articles. According to the invention, two elliptical rings, supported by pliers (4) and (5) on inclined surfaces, at the point where they are worked, are linked between the cavity of two small flexible frames adjacent to each other and which operate in succession, each on the surface where the corresponding ring for deflection lies; the two components (6 and 7) or (8 and 9) of each small frame are activated simultaneously to the same extent each by its own mechanical transmission system determining uniform and symmetric inflections of the links each supported by its own pliers (figs. 3 and 4).
