Abstract

The invention concerns a grinding wheel (1) which presents a series of grooves (6) made on its upper layer (8) containing the abrasive granules, which lie on straight tangents to a concentric circumference (7) which is inside in relation to the external edge of the grinding wheel. Thanks to the said device it is possible to reduce greatly the "polishing" and "greasing" phenomena of the grinding wheel, considerably reducing the time which must elapse between two successive maintenance operations on the said grinding wheel (fig. 2).
