Abstract

The vertically oriented high pressure water pump system (10) comprises an internal combustion engine (20) including an motor housing, a downwardly oriented vertical drive shaft having an end, and several motor bolt apertures. An intermediate flange (30) has an apertures and recesses, there is an axial thrust bearing located in the first recess of the intermediate flange. Rotation of a drive shaft causes the thrust bearing and the drive shaft sleeve to rotate in unison. There is also an axial drive piston pump and a wobble disc assembly attached to the end of the drive shaft and located in the second recess of the intermediate flange and attached to the end of the drive shaft.
