Abstract

Trattasi una protesi in duplice strato che trova applicazione in tutti i pazienti affetti da ernia inguinale.I due strati, inferiore e superiore, di cui si compone tale protesi dinamica, essendo fissati ognuno su di un solo lato opposto a quello dell'altro, possono muoversi in modo indipendente l'uno rispetto all'altro.Tutto ciò evita che durante un'azione muscolare (deambulazione, tosse, ponzamento, etc.) si formino dei punti di trazione e/o di torsione, spesso responsabili di fastidi e dolori post-operatori immediati od a distanza.Lo strato inferiore crea un neo orifizio inguinale interno ed esercita un'azione di "fionda" sul funicolo spermatico. Quest'ultimo assume un andamento a "chicane" attraversando il duplice strato protesico.L'associazione della "fionda" con il percorso a "chicane" del funicolo previene le ernie recidive oblique esterne.
