Abstract
The compounds of formula I: <IMAGE> or their salts or solvates, in which: R1 represents an alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group, R2, R3 and R4 each separately represent hydrogen or alkyl, R5 and R6 each separately represent hydrogen, hydroxy, amine, alkoxy, alkyl carbonyloxy, substituted or unsubstituted phenoxy, substituted or unsubstituted benzyloxy, alkylamino, dialkylamino, chloro, alkyl, carboxy, carbalkoxy, carbamoyl, alkyl carbamoyl or R5 and R6 together represent a saturated or unsaturated C3-5 alkylene chain, each of the carbon atoms of which may be substituted with up to 3 alkyl groups, and X represents hydroxy, alkoxy or a group of formula NRsRt in which Rs and Rt each separately represent hydrogen, alkyl, substituted alkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, phenyl alkyl or heteroaryl alkyl, or Rs and Rt together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bound represent a saturated heterocyclic group; useful in the treatment of osteoporosis.
