Abstract

The present invention concerns an apparatus for the continual high-pressure humid thermal treatment of a spun textile material, comprising a steam generating body of horizontally elongated shape in which there are a pair of windows for inspecting the operating condition at its internal wall, a rail extending across the lateral direction of its internal bottom and a carriage which can move along the rail and having a mechanism for winding and unwinding the spun textile material mounted on it. It is preferable that the intermediate portion of the steam generating body be in the shape of serpentine undulations to prevent the expansion of the steam generating body during the humid thermal treatment of the textile material. <IMAGE>
