Abstract

La piastra di chiusura refrattaria (22) per una saracinesca di chiusura (20) in un contenitore (10) di masse metalliche fuse presenta una piastra refrattaria (31) con una rientranza allargante l'apertura di passaggio (25) sul suo lato rivolto in senso contrario alla superficie di scorrimento (22'), nella quale rientranza è incorporato un inserto (30) molto refrattario, il quale insieme alla piastra adiacente (31) forma un giunto (32) sboccante nell'apertura di passaggio (25) e servente ad insufflare gas. Questo giunto (32) è formato preferibilmente come intervallo libero, nel quale l'inserto (30) giace direttamente sulla piastra refrattaria (31). Una camera per gas anulare circondante il giunto (32) è accoppiata così con un raccordo per gas (33). In questo modo il gas può essere insufflato in maniera costante o ad impulsi nell'apertura di passaggio (25) della chiusura a saracinesca (20), particolarmente nella sua posizione chiusa, e di conseguenza può essere evitato con successo un congelamento della massa d'acciaio fusa situata in essa. Con questa piastra di chiusura (22) secondo l'invenzione si ottiene che, con una fabbricazione molto semplice e con una elevata durata utile della medesima, si realizzi una insufflazione ottimale di gas.(Figura 1).
