Abstract

A process for making an ornamental chain from a chain with "figure of eight" links which is twisted longitudinally so as to produce a chain having a substantially square cross-section in which each of the figure of eight links 1 is rotated on itself through approximately 90 degrees with respect to an axis passing through its centre and perpendicular to the plane in which it lies and arranged in a plane perpendicular to the planes in which the two adjacent links 2, 3 to which it is linked lie, is described.
