Si descrivono disperdenti solfonati idrosolubili derivanti da reazione tra SO3 e indene o sue miscele con aromatici.I solfonati così ottenuti sono utili per fluidificare e pompare per lunghe distanze miscele concentrate di carbone in acqua, trovando inoltre impiego come superfluidificanti del calcestruzzo.
