Abstract

The cigarette lighter comprises a spark plug 10 provided with a mobile assembly 22 containing an electrical resistor 32, a base carrying electrical contacts 14, having a cavity 12 in which said spark plug 10 can be inserted, thereby allowing current to flow in the resistor 32 with subsequent heating, and an activation element 38 of a thermal protection device, able to definitively interrupt said flow of current when said activation element 38 is subjected to an anomalous temperature higher than a threshold value.
