Abstract

Locking and adjustment device for the control spindle of taps or valves comprising: an edge 9 obtained by folding with a caulking tool over the body 7, a throat 5 formed on the control spindle 3, an extension 15, obtained by milling, of the flats on the control spindle 3 for turning the valve, a sealing device 11, consisting of at least one PTFE sealing ring held under pressure by a threaded ferrule 13, or of "O"-rings, two end stops 17, of triangular section, formed on the body; the said edge 9 being engaged in the said throat 5 to drive the spindle 3 in its up and down motion, preventing the spindle 3 from coming out and ensuring perfect locking; the said extension 15 driving the rotation of the spindle 3 only in the space between the two end stops 17, that is by not more than 90 degree. <IMAGE>
