Abstract
Viene proposto un circuito per il riconoscimento del parlato veloce e per tuttavia dai risultati accurati.Il riconoscimento del parlato consiste nell'estrarre sequenze di vettori da un segnale di parlato e nel confrontarli poi con vettori di riferimento corrispondenti alle parole da riconoscere, generalmente memorizzati in memorie a semiconduttore.Essendo spesso richiesto un riconoscimento in tempo reale il principale fattore limitante tali sistemi è il tempo di accesso alla memoria.Utilizzando invece delle consuete RAM dinamiche (DRAM) delle video RAM o memorie con architettura analoga, cioè dotate di porte indipendenti per l'ingresso e l'uscita e con uscite seriali ad alta velocità, l'architettura che ne risulta è priva di tempi di attesa.A circuit for the recognition of fast speech and for accurate results is proposed. Speech recognition consists in extracting vector sequences from a speech signal and then comparing them with reference vectors corresponding to the words to be recognized, generally stored in semiconductor memories. As real-time recognition is often required, the main limiting factor of these systems is the access time to the memory. Instead, using the usual dynamic RAM (DRAM) of video RAM or memories with similar architecture, that is, equipped with independent ports for the input and output and with high-speed serial outputs, the resulting architecture lacks waiting times.
