Abstract

A tube for use as a fishing rod comprises tubular material and a guide for the line fixed to one end of the tubular material. The guide for the line includes a line guide hole and a mounting portion for fixing to the tubular material. The tubular material includes a joining recess formed peripherally at its end to engage with the mounting portion and to connect the mounting portion to the tubular material. A moulding is formed on the joining recess to connect the mounting portion rigidly to the tubular material. <IMAGE>
