Pressure regulating valve 1 with proportional response, comprising a valve body 2 having an internal axial cavity 2a and a spool 3 which can travel axially inside the cavity 2a to isolate from or selectively connect a usage port 8 to a feed port 7 and a discharge port 9 of the valve 1 itself and subject at one side to the control load and on an opposite side to an elastic load and to a hydraulic load determined by a pressure of the operating fluid equal to the usage pressure; the usage port 8 is installed, in the axial direction relative to the cavity 2a, between said feed port 7 and said discharge port 9, and the spool 3 comprises a gasket 14 able to be placed between the usage port 8 and one or both of the feed port 7 and the discharge port 9. <IMAGE>
