Abstract
E' descritto un procedimento per recuperare triptofano otticamente attivo a partire da un brodo di fermentazione del triptofano, il quale procedimento comprende rimuovere cellule dal brodo di fermentazione, aggiungere acido cloridrico, o acido cloridrico e un sale inorganico contenente ione cloro al liquido privo di cellule per far cristallizzare e separare idrocloruro di triptofano otticamente attivo, sciogliere l'idrocloruro di triptofano otticamente attivo e sottoporre la soluzione risultante e una soluzione alcalina a cristallizzazione e neutralizzazione contemporanea in modo da mantenere un pH della soluzione di cristallizzazione in un intervallo da 3 a 8.
