Abstract

Viene descritta una composizione farmaceutica per il rilascio controllato di farmaci avente la proprietà di aderire ai tessuti biologici. Tale composizione ha come componenti caratteristiche una pluralità di unità di piccole dimensioni atte a consentire il rilascio graduale del principio attivo in esse contenuto ed uno strato polimerico bio-adesivo che ricopre individualmente la superficie di ognuna di dette unità. La composizione permette di mantenere separata la funzione che controlla il rilascio dalla funzione che fornisce la bio-adesione ed è adattabile sia alla somministrazione per via orale sia a quella per via oculare, rettale, vaginale, nasale o periodontale. Viene anche descritto un procedimento vantaggioso per ottenere detta composizione.
