A pump for circulation of coolant in internal combustion engines provides for a pump body 11 in whose interior a rotating shaft 12 is housed, which receives the motion from an external pulley 13 and which transmits the motion to an external impeller 14 inserted in a coolant circuit; the group consisting of shaft 12 and pulley 13 is mounted to rotate on an external bearing 15 interposed between pulley 13 and pump body 11; bearing 15 is therefore not damaged by liquid produced within pump body 11. <IMAGE>
