Abstract

L'invenzione riguarda un braccio escavatore longitudinale per scavi ed abbattimenti, del tipo utilizzato in macchine escavatrici parziali, e simili. Secondo l'invenzione, la testa fresatrice (6) è montata per mezzo di un manicotto posteriore rotante (15) e per mezzo di cuscinetti (16, 17) sul portatesta (2) che è fissato al braccio escavatore (1) ed attraverso il quale passa l'albero d'azionamento (7), mentre, in una forma esecutiva preferita dell'invenzione, il manicotto rotante (15) costituisce nel contempo anche il sopporto di una coclea trasportatrice (24). Il sopporto della testa fresatrice (6) e del suo albero d'azionamento (7) avviene pertanto non per mezzo di cuscinetti a rotolamento associati all'albero, bensì per mezzo di cuscinetti disposti sul portatesta (2) che sostiene la testa fresatrice (6) per mezzo del manicotto rotante (15) collegato saldamente con la detta testa stessa.
