Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for finishing or ennobling with a rubber effect cellulose-fibre fabrics and to a resin for implementing said method. The method consists in subjecting at least one side of a textile substrate consisting of natural or synthetic cellulose fibres to a first step involving application, by means of printing, of a polyurethane-based resin, to a second step involving drying of the resin applied and to a third step involving cross-linking of the resin at a temperature essentially of 150oC. The fabric is then subjected to a fourth step involving treatment of the type known in the sector as "stone washing". The product obtained, in the zones where the resin is applied, has a feel which is typical of that of rubbery materials, while also ensuring good breathability in these zones.
