Abstract

Manually operated device for adjusting the pitch of variable-pitch propellers of the type comprising a hub connected to the shaft, a pinion meshing with central gears supporting the blades and coaxial with the shaft and a displaceable annular slider for adjusting the pitch; said device consists of a cylindrical annular body in the form of a ring mounted, freely rotatable without axial displacement, on one end of said hub connected to the shaft and internally provided with an annular cavity which is also coaxial with the axis of the shaft and which has, mounted inside it, an annular body, essentially an actuating slider, provided externally with a thread engaging with a thread inside said rotating ring, said actuating slider being directly connected to said adjusting slider by means of at least one transmission element coaxial with the shaft. <IMAGE>
