Abstract

Composizione di pelle artificiale con elevate caratteristiche di assorbimento di vapore acqueo e di dilatabilità a umido e contrazione a secco comprendente una matrice polimerica elastica microcoagulata nella quale è dispersa e/o disciolta una sostanza proteica insolubile in acqua. Preferibilmente, tale matrice polimerica è poliuretano, e tale sostanza proteica è un amminoacido, e di preferenza è un glutine, di frumento o di mais, o una proteina di soia, del tipo così detto "vitale", ossia riidratabile. Il metodo di fabbricazione della pelle secondo l'invenzione comprende la preparazione di una miscela fluida formata da una soluzione di polimero nella quale è dispersa o disciolta la sostanza proteica, la sua applicazione su un supporto inerte, e la microcoagulazione della miscela polimerica, con allontamemento del solvente con acqua, come da tecnologia nota.
