Abstract

(FIG. 1)Assembly of sanding pad and abrasive disc for a rotary disc sanding machine comprising: a) a sanding pad with means for fixing to the sanding machine spindle and a plurality of radial grooves converging on a central concavity obtained on the wall opposite the sanding machine; b) a retaining member of an abrasive disc on the backing pad comprising a plurality of radial elements fixed to a central core, each radial element corresponding to said central concavity; c) an abrasive disk made of material suitable to carry on a face a conventional abrasive material, bearing a central hole to allow said central core of the retention member to pass and deformable in order to be pushed into said grooves by said corresponding radial elements of said retention member when the latter is fixed at the bottom of said grooves and concavities.
