Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for purifying process waste water, in particular plant waste water from oil mills, consisting in mixing the said waste water with powdered or granulated carbon, of vegetable or mineral origin, until a mixture is obtained containing carbon in variable amounts, preferably between 45 and 55% by weight of the mixture, and optionally adding to the mixture a fluidizing additive of the type used in cement manufacture, in quantities of between 0.2 and 1% by weight of the mixture. <IMAGE>
