Abstract

The babies pushchair has paired front (3) and rear (4) legs. The rear legs have an angle bar (14) connected pivotally, a pusher rod (6) being pivoted to the other bar end. When the pushchair is erected for use, the angle bar is in line with the pusher rod. When the chair is collapsed, the rod and angle bar are bent relative to one another. This further reduces the vertical dimension of the chair. The turning movement of the angle bars results in a reduction of the longitudinal and transverse spacings between the rear legs, so that the assembly collapses for storage.
