Abstract

The wheel for a motorcycle comprises a rim (2) carried by spokes (3) which are formed integrally with the hub (4) by cutting and shaping a single planar annular disc (27). The spokes have planar parts (66) which are folded to one side or the other of the original plane of the disc and diverge from the rim (2) towards the wheel axis. The disc forms one side of the wheel whilst the inner parts (66) projecting out of the disc are attached to another hub element (68) to complete the wheel.
