Abstract

Each anchorage shell (1) of an invisible hinge is cylindrical and houses one of two small box-shaped hinge supporting frames. Each shell has two external, diametrically opposed longitudinal crests (2) with flexibly compressible saw teeth. Such compression is facilitated by central crest slits (2a) running longitudinally. Further slits (2c) run laterally and extend the whole length of an internal crest cavity (2b) which communicates with the longitudinal slits. Each supporting frame is associated with a fixed or sliding pin acted upon by a flat lever.
