Abstract

The loading bridge is for rounds with end flanges between the magazine and gun in an armoured vehicle turret. A rocker lever (14) is mounted at the bottom of the bridge (4) at the end towards the gun breech (2) on an axis (15) at right angles to that of the gun barrel, one of its arms (18) extending towards the latter. The other arm, extending away from the barrel, has a ramp (17) spring-loaded (16) into the path of the round end flange (13). Thus when the flange rides over this ramp the first arm (18) aligns the round with the barrel axis (7).
