Abstract

1. Bracelet, in particular a watch band, consisting of links, particularly metallic links (1) arranged side by side, showing a feather-key shaped joint fitting (2), having a circular or segment diameter, on one side transversely to the band, and showing on the opposite side a joint groove (3) matching to this joint fitting, these links being moveably linked with one an other in an interlocking way by inserting the joint fitting (2) of each link (1) transversely to the band into the joint groove (3) of the adjacent link (1), with at least one locking link (7) being inserted into a holding bore (5) being provided in one link (1) near the joint groove (3), overlapping this, in order to prevent the two links being moveably linked with each other from displacing against each other, mating in a belonging cut (6), provided in the joint fitting (2) of the other link (1) being limited by lateral faces parallel to each other, characterized by the combination of the following features : a) the holding bore (5) is arranged vertically to the band area ; b) the locking link (7) is inserted with friction contact ; c) the locking link (7) is shaped like a locking ball ; d) the holding bore (5) is dimensioned in such a deep way that the locking ball (7) being inserted into it can be pushed optionally totally or partly into the cut (6) being provided in the joint fitting (2) of the joint link (1) and that it can be pressed out of the cut (6) and perhaps also out of the holding bore (5) only in case of a partly mating into this cut (6) by a force in the sense of a displacement against each other of the two links (1) in the longitudinal direction of the joint groove (3) by the then produced pressure of a lateral edge (106, 206) of the cut (6) on to the locking ball section mating into this.
