Abstract

Front and rear floating sections (1a,b) are interconnected by an articulated joint (2). An adjustable length foot receiving plate (3) is located in the front section. The secions are hollow, the front one having a movable fin (205), the rear one a fixed fin (209). The base plate for receipt of the foot can have footwear connected to it, the plate being articulated. Transverse grooves can be provided to accommodate sticks, held by controllable clamps. The sticks can have hollow curved propulsion fins at their ends, for manual propulsion by the user.
