Abstract

The machine has a box support (2), a box advance (2), and a taping head (4), above the support, and moveable at right to it. The taping head supports a pair of arms (12) for contact rollers (13), which engage on the top of the box sides, to press them together. A control unit drives the arms, that they maintain the rollers in the max. relative expansion position on the walls of the support. The arms are moved in direction of the pressure, when the box moves below the taping head. The rollers are connected to the arms, via support blocks (19).
