Abstract

Lining material comprises a thermoformable polymeric support sheet with an adhesive-secured flocked surface layer of natural and/or synthetic fibres simulating velvet. The sheet may be of foamed polyurethane, or of thermoweldable PVC with added nitrile rubber and/or copolymers to provide thermoformability. The surface layer may have printed or relief printed patterns and the sheet may be made permeable by drilling through to increase its sound-proof and heat insulating characteristics.
