Abstract

The invention relates to a cartridge fuse, particularly for low-voltage, high-rupture capacity fuses, known as hrc fuses, which has an operating fusing conductor (3) between contact blades (1, 2) and above it, and connected electrically in parallel with it, an indicating fusing conductor (4) having a spring plate indicator, an indicating fusing conductor (4) being clamped between an indicating spring (5) on a stop plate (6) and the stop plate (7) located opposite, which indicating fusing conductor (4) holds the free end of the indicating spring (5) down, which springs up from the stop plate (6) after melting of the indicating fusing conductor (4) and provides an optical indication. It is intended that the stop plate (6) with the indicating spring (5) be provided with a sealing layer (14) on its inner side, which can be penetrated by a channel (7) and, in the region of the passage opening (9) in the cover plate, reaches up closer to the indicating fusing conductor (4) than it corresponds to the grain diameter of the extinguishing sand. <IMAGE>
