Abstract

ABSTRACT The invention is a fancy covering for a sofa and the name is a combination of sofa and fancy. The "sofancie" resembles an extra long scarf which is draped over the cushion‘s part of a sofa and each end extends over each arm of the sofa. On the underside of the "sofancie" is a number of hanging fabric slats, the number of slats depending on how many cushions there are. The "sofancie" is fixed over the cushions by fastening the slats on the undersides of the cushions. Each end of the material extends over each arm of the sofa and is weighed down by a hemmed-in strip of wood or plastic. The "sofancie" will dispense with the need for expensive chair covers or untidy throwovers for sofas.
