Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound participating in hematogenesis, etc., by constructing a DNA containing an expression cassette containing a transfer termination regulation region functioning in a host cell in the transfer direction, introducing the constructed DNA into a host cell, culturing the transformed cell and recovering the culture product. SOLUTION: Human interleukin-3(IL-3) is produced by a host cell according to the following procedures. A constructed DNA containing an expression cassette containing a transfer starting regulation region functioning in the host cell in the transfer direction, a DNA sequence coding for human IL-3 and a transfer termination regulation region functioning in the host is introduced into a host cell consisting of yeast, bacteria, true fungi or tissue cultured cell, etc., the transformed host cell containing the constructed DNA is cultured in a nutrient medium under proper culture condition to produce the human IL-3 and the produced human IL-3 is recovered to obtain the objective human IL-3 enabling the production of human IL-3 protein using a wide variety of host organisms[JP10080286A]
