Abstract

The process is characterised in that it comprises at least the following stages: a) on the one hand, a solution of an alkali metal silicate and, on the other hand, a solution of at least one soluble salt of a metal oxide chosen from the group comprising lead, calcium, barium, zinc and magnesium are reacted continuously; b) a solid phase comprising the precursor composition is isolated from the suspension thus obtained and this solid phase is optionally dried.
