Abstract

Aspects relate to a cabinet for storing medicines, a system, a computer-implemented method, and computer software. The cabinet comprises: at least one openable door for providing access to an interior of the cabinet to access medicines stored therein; a lock configurable in a locked state to lock the at least one door in a closed position and an unlocked state to allow the door to open; communication means communicable with a computer network for receiving instruction data from a computer server via the computer network, wherein the instruction data is indicative of an instruction to enable a state of the lock; and processing means configured to: authenticate the received instruction data; and configure the state of the lock according to the authenticated instruction data from the locked state to the unlocked state. <Figure 12>
