Abstract

New diaryl compounds of the general formula I, (I) <IMG> and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts are useful as vasodilators and coronary therapeutics. In a preferred compound R1, R2, and R3 are methyl, Ar is 3-nitrophenyl, A is -CH2CH2CH2 and R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each hydrogen. Processes for preparing the diaryl compounds of general formula I and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are also disclosed. [CA1291137C]
