Abstract

Novel tri-mixed alkylsulfonium salts of N-phosphonomethylgly-cine are disclosed herein, having the formula < IMG > in which R1, R2, are R3 represent C1-C6 alkyl and n is zero or one, wherein no more than two of R1, R2, or R3 are identical. The compounds are useful in regulating the natural growth or development of plants and as herbicides. [CA1186328A]
