Abstract

The razor unit has a plastics holder body (10) with end parts (10c) anchoring the shaped cross section blades (11, 12). The blades have cutting edges (11a,12a) continuing towards the rear of the holder body with straight line cross sections and joined by curved sections while the rear edges opposite to the cutting edges level off into surfaces parallel to the holder upper surface on the end parts (10c). The blades have a constant cross section shape between the two opposite anchoring parts (10c), while the straight line parts of the cross sections are at a dipped angle to the upper surfaces of the end parts. The underside of the holder body (10) has inwards pointing flanges (10d,10e) forming a T-shaped groove into which a correspondingly shaped head of a handle engages. Further the plastics holder body (10) has two ridges (10a) on its front edge serving as a protecting device for the cutting edge (11a), while the levelled-off rear edge of the first blade (11) serves as a protective device for the second blade (12).
