Abstract

The composition contains 10 to 75% of a herbicidal derivative of 2,6-dinitroaniline, such as trifluralin, 0 to 60% of a water-immiscible solvent (the herbicide and the solvent forming a homogenous disperse phase), 0.5 to 10% of an emulsifying agent and 15 to 70% of an aqueous solution of an inorganic salt such as NaCl, the salt representing at least 5% of the aqueous solution which may also contain urea (percentages expressed by weight). The compositions thus possess satisfactory storage stability characteristics while containing high herbicide concentrations. They can be used in agriculture, in pre-emergence treatment. [GB1594991A]
