Abstract
1426245 Line pegs JUDGE INTERNATIONAL LTD 1 March 1974 [9 March 1973] 11564/73 Heading E2B A line gripping peg comprises a peg member 1 having clamping arms 3 connected by a member 11 so as to be resiliently flexible and being reciprocable within a housing member 2 between a projected position and a retracted position, as shown, in which surfaces 23 formed on the arms 3 engage inner surfaces of the housing causing the arms 3 to flex towards each other. The yarns are formed with pairs of clamping surfaces 5 and 15 to accommodate lines 7 of differing thickness and surfaces 17 which grip sheets of material 19 passed over the line. The housing 2 is provided with registering slots 20, Fig. 1 (not shown), through which the line passes. The retracted position is defined by a U-shaped bight portion 13 of the member 11 engaging an abutment 12 of the housing while the projected position is defined by projections 21 of the peg members engaging shoulders 14 on the inner walls of the peg housing 2.
