Abstract

1350507 Hand trollies BRABY GROUP Ltd 19 Sept 1972 [15 Nov 1971] 52962/71 Heading B7B [Also in Divisions B8 and F2] A device facilitating the movement of heavy loads, comprises a telescopically adjustable channel frame 12, 13 mounting sets of ground engaging rollers 21 at each end, the rollers being rotatably and axially free on respective spindles 20 but axially clampable to act as a brake for the device. The rollers 21 of each set, formed of plastics material, are braked by a hand operated lever 22, pivoted to the end of the spindle 20 and having a cam end 22a which together with an abutment 24 at the other end of the spindle squeezes the flanges of the frame channel together to clamp the rollers. Pads of friction material are secured to the top side of each end of the frame to engage the load and a plurality of such devices may be used for a single load. [GB1350507A]
